First Post

A little introduction is necessary. At present, I have created this blog with the intention of offloading rants, reviews and advice.

I have named the blog after the seminal pre-feminist document The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir. I adore Simone but I am not a feminist (at present). Like her, I have been described as having a "male brain" and I hope to one day be able to forge a living from writing.

Here's to my first post and I hope you enjoy my ramblings.
