Mi Corazón Insiste… en Lola Volcán (My Heart beats for Lola Volcan) is a Spanish-language telenovela produced by the United States-based television network Telemundo. Mi Corazón Insiste… en Lola Volcán: synopsis
Telemundo will likely air the serial from Monday to Friday over about 26 weeks during the 2011-2012 season. As with most of its other soap operas, the network broadcasts English subtitles as closed captions on CC3.

It is a remake of Colombian telenovela of 1998-1999 Yo amo a Paquita Gallego by Julio Jimenez.

Mi Corazón Insiste en Lola Volcán” tells the story of Lola Volcán (Carmen Villalobos), a beautiful, rebellious and combative young woman with an unknown and traumatic past that does not allow her to cry like any other person would to relieve their pain. Her only source of happiness has been her love for Andrés Santacruz (Jencarlos Canela), a charming and handsome young man whom she runs away with, in a moment of youthful reckless abandon. She will end up paying a very high price for her love, since to break them apart, Lola will be unjustly accused of a crime for which she will spend five years behind bars. Lola leaves jail on parole, but is marked with a deep anguish in her heart. Her reunion with Andres will bring her close to happiness, but an accident threatens to make her lose the man she loves yet again.
